Making Dolls and Designing Clothing

Posted on July 18, 2009 at 2:01 PM

I am a Doll Maker of Bottle Dolls looking to share ideas with other doll makers from around the world.  Please feel free to share your comments with these little Eco-green dolls.  We welcome fashion designers and beginners to share in this blog.

I have been making Bottle dolls since I was six years old.  Therefore, I am searching for other bottle doll makers or those who can remember making Coca Cola Bottle dolls.I don't know how or where I got this ideas, and my sisters doesn't know either. I think any ladies past fifty would remember these dolls. This may have come from my grandmother or it may have come from anywhere.

Anyways. I would love to meet other ladies that know about Bottle dolls. I know these dolls didn't come from  CHINA.

I'm not a collector, and I really don't care about her value. I'm sure it has little to no value, other then what it means to me. I just want to know what other ladies was doing with their Bottle dolls.

If  you know anything about Bottle dolls please tell me. Also, if you know about designing colhing for these Bottle dolls or would like to learn more about these Bottle Dolls, since they are a delite to my heart and a joy to make.

Hello ZillionaireDiva, Love the bottle dolls. I had all cloth dolls when I was younger, so the bottle dolls are a different twist! They are beautiful, fashionable, and unique. Keep up the outreach and see who will recall these unique dolls!

Hello Miss Bottle Doll Creator
Perhaps no one remember the folk dolls of course I don't However I do remember the coke cola bottle dolls with grass hair made from rope often secured by a stick or clothe line pin they were fun and I guess very econonal for my parents, Again maybe there is no history but, God your creator has given you all the history you will ever need. My input about getting them advertise is It a appears that some people like yourself just have this unique passion for dolls. It always great to reach out, the clothing line is beautiful back to my sugesstion I happen to be flipping through the channels and run across Marie Osmound on QVC with her line of dolls. I hope this information help you maybe youcan contact Marie or QVC. Keep of the up the faith God is trying to tell you something and there is no mistake in Him I love you and wish you joy and great success "Your work shall not retrun void.

Beth, the doll creation is absolutely from God. It provides not only jobs for those in need, but also it is enabling our society to remain echo-friendly. This project is fulfiling a generational gap in that it allows young and old alike to appreciate the creativity and ministry through your dolls.
